"Dead World" refers to the area backstage where all the empty or 'Dead" cases are stored. I remember as a teenager reading guitar magazines and seeing these cases in the background of photos, covered in stickers, graffiti and abuse and would think "Man, that's cool". Naturally, the moment I started photographing concerts I was drawn to "Dead World".
